Role Description

Tracom Services Ltd, a leading technology company which specializes in offering secure payment solutions is seeking to recruit an Presales Executive to work in its office in Nairobi. Your duties and responsibilities will comprise of:
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients (banks and financial institutions) for both card printing services and card printing machines.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the card printing industry, including emerging technologies and regulatory changes.
  • Identify and engage with key decision-makers within targeted banks.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Present company products and services, including card printing machines, to potential clients in a compelling and persuasive manner.
  • Lead negotiations and close deals, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets for both card printing services and card printing machines.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in line with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.
  • Work closely with the product development team to ensure that products, including card printing machines, meet client needs and market demand.

  • Track sales performance and provide regular reports to the Managing Director.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and set performance goals in collaboration with the management team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Requirements; -
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the card printing or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of the financial sector, particularly in banking.
Key skills and competencies;
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with the regulatory environment for card printing and financial products.
  • Team player with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
