Role Description

Tracom Services Ltd, a leading technology company which specializes in offering secure payment solutions is seeking to recruit an Presales Executive to work in its office in Nairobi. Your duties and responsibilities will comprise of:
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Business and Commercial Director and Business team as required
  • Organize meetings for the Business Teams, take minutes and share with the relevant teams
  • Assist in planning for product presentations and demonstration with internal teams on behalf of the Account Managers and Business Developers
  • Monitor upcoming tenders, pre-qualifications, and procurement opportunities relevant to the company.
  • Prepare detailed responses to technical questions and clarify any ambiguities in tender requirements.
  • Draft, edit, format and compile tender technical sections and documents for tender submissions while ensuring compliance with client requirements and deadlines.
  • Review tender requirements and coordinate with relevant departments to gather necessary information.
  • Ensure all documentation, certifications, and technical details are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to develop and present innovative solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Provide expertise in understanding and addressing technical specifications and requirements in tender documents.
  • Act as the liaison between the sales, technical, and administrative teams to streamline tender submission processes.
  • Organize for review of tender responses by the tender committee to ensure that the responses are an accurate match to customer requirements and seek approval for submission from the Directors.
  • Follow up on tender outcomes and provide support during clarification stages
  • Document feedback and lessons learned for continuous improvement in future tender submissions.
  • Maintain an updated and organized database of tender submissions, including templates, references, technical documents, certifications and past project details.
  • Develop and maintain an updated database of all the important information for both current and prospective customers
  • Provide first-level technical support to clients during pre-sales discussions, explaining product features and technical specifications.
  • Work with the technical team to coordinate product demos, proof of concepts (POCs), and trials for potential customers.
  • Prepare sales reports, plan, organize, coordinate and document monthly meeting with the Business team to track the sales progress, including health pipeline, forecasting, contract renewals, collections and revenue performance
  • Provide the Business teams with regular reports and analysis of the progress made by the team for the purpose of tracking the success of the team’s effort on the strategic plans of the department
  • Maintain records of customers documents involved in the sales process including BRD, Proposals, technical documents, PO, Contracts, project signoffs, invoices etc.
  • Support onboarding of new clients, ensuring all required documentation and processes are completed.
  • Liaise with product, operations, and support teams to resolve client issues and deliver tailored solutions
  • Ensure all clients receive all the documents they require to support the sales process
  • Provide training and guidance to the sales team on technical aspects of products and tools.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, departmental procedures and ISO 9001:2015
Requirements; -
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 years’ working experience of in a sales administration or technical sales support role, in a fintech, or technology-driven environment.
  • Certification or training in sales, customer relationship management, or technical support is a plus.
  • Understanding of fintech or technical products and services, including APIs, integrations, or cloud-based solutions.
  • Proficiency in relevant technologies, platforms, or programming languages (e.g., cloud platforms, APIs, software integrations).
  • Understanding of system architectures, networks, and enterprise IT environments.
  • Ability to create technical diagrams, proposals, and presentations.
