Duties & Responsibilities:

• Install and configure software, hardware and networks
• Set up users’ accounts and workstations
• Manage end user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in accordance with company policies
• Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues which users encounter
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues identified or reported
• Ensure security and efficiency of IT infrastructure through access controls, backups and firewalls
• Install, configure as well as maintain storage and backup hardware inclusive of physical and virtual tape libraries or drives along with disk storage targets.
• Involved in data backup and recovery.
• Maintain data centre facilities including clean power systems, cooling systems, Fire suppression systems and environment monitoring systems.
• Participate in all Disaster Recovery Testing and Simulation activities.
• Maintain the essentials such as operating systems, business applications, security tools, web-servers, email, PCs, local and wide area networking both hardware and software and mid-range server hardware
• Assist in integrating new applications and technologies into the current systems
• Manage virtual and physical servers
• Ensure the security of the server infrastructure by implementing industry best practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance
• Develop and maintain documentation about current environment set up, standard operating procedures and best practices
• Maintenance of the physical office access system and grant users rights as approved by HR or Head of Administration.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, departmental procedures and ISO 9001:2015
• Any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor and the management from time to time

Job Specifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related course or equivalent experience.
• Three (3) years’ experience in related role
• Professional certification in Networking and system administration (CCNA/HCNA certification)
• Communication skills
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Hands on experience with Docker and Kubernetes. Should also be conversant with Linux environments. (Mandatory)
• Server Administration Linux & Windows
• Working experience in Cloud technologies (Aws, Azure or GCP)
